Blue Valley North overcomes wind and wins 6A golf crown
Windy conditions Monday at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City ensured that no golfer at the Kansas 6A state tournament would finish under par. So Blue Valley North had no chance at duplicating its other-worldly 6-under team score from the regional win a week earlier.

KANSAS CI TY—Augusta junior Kesten Trebbe shot a round of 82 at the Class 4A state golf meet at the Dub’s Dread Golf Course in Kansas City Monday. Trebbe’s solid performance was good for 22nd place overall. He was one stroke behind six other golfers who tied with an 81.
